Three days after I last posted, I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma.
So that was a real kick in the teeth, except, you know, a little bit lower and only on the left. My left, not yours.
And that was just the first family crisis for the year.
Needless to say, life has been “noisy” and, consequently, I have been quiet (unless you’re my friend on Facebook, in which case you’re thinking, “SHUT UP about cancer and boobs already!”).
But I’m still here. My books are still available on Amazon or by ordering through your local bookseller. And? There is still good in the world.
For instance? I am going to be a grandma for the first time at the end of this year. As I’ve said before, I don’t quilt. So my children’s books are really for my future grandchildren. I can’t wait to share Hector with this new little member of our family, to help him or her look for the good in the world, be the good in the world, and always be on a quest for kindness.
